Competition Theme - Connected Life
|
Nowadays, products supply chain cover all over the world, while logistics is a vital part of the whole supply chain. Being part of the global village, supply chain has connected us together. Because of the existence of supply chain, our lives are connected with the whole world.
To enhance public awareness of the LMS, the Department is now preparing a new set of folder for external distribution. An A4 folder design competition, hence, is held for the best design. LMS students, alumni and colleagues are welcome to participate. The winning entries will be decided by the staff of the Department as well as students through online polling. Winners not only will be rewarded with fabulous prizes, the champion design will also be used by the LMS department as its new folder next year for upcoming events. |

How to Join
|
Submission Requirements
|
- The composition element should include the Department Name
(full in A4 design, and abbreviation “LMS” in the smaller design).
- Each entry must include a brief description with less than 300 words in English illustrating the design concept.
- The entry must not be or include images, photographs, persons, trademarks, distinctive features, wording or other elements, for which the participant does not have the license and for which s/he cannot provide a license to publish, use, reproduce, print or operate. LMS will not be held liable for submissions received.

- Submit the entry and the application form via email to folder.design@polyu.edu.hk with the information listed below:
- Name of participant (Full name as stated on the identification document)
- Phone number
- Indicate if you are a LMS student, staff or alumni
- Text description of the design concept (within 300 words in English)
- The attachment(s) should not exceed 30MB in total.

- All prizes given out by LMS are non-transferable and winners may not refund or exchange the prize for cash or other service(s).
- All winners have to collect the prizes in person. In the event that a winner is unable to claim the prize in person, s/he may authorize a delegate to claim the prize on his/her behalf.

- The Judging Panel will comprise members of the LMS academic staff.

Selection Criteria & Procedures
|
- All entries will be assessed by the Judging Panel based on the following criteria:
- Aesthetic quality
- Originality & Creativity
- Reproducibility
|

Online Voting
|
- Based on the above selection criteria, the Judging Panel will select the 5 finalists for online voting.
- All LMS students, staff, alumni are eligible to vote up to 3 designs.
- The design with the highest score will be the winning design.
- To avoid duplicate voting from one voter, voter is required to input their Student ID/Staff Number for verification.

| All voting participants will be eligible for a lucky draw. 5 winners will be awarded HK$200 Pacific Café Gift Card. |
