To recognize the career achievement of our young alumni in the areas of their expertise and contributions to society, the Department of Logistics and Maritime Studies (LMS) has launched the LMS Young Career Award starting from 2017.
為表揚於所屬行業表現出色及對社會有貢獻之年青畢業生,理大物流及航運學系(本學系)由 2017 年起開設「物流及航運學系青年成就獎」。 |

Nomination period will run from now to 16 November 2020 (Monday).
Nomination form is available for download here.
Nominator should submit the required documents on or before the nomination closing date via one of the following channels:

Nominee 候選人
The nominee must be a local* graduate who has been conferred a Bachelor’s Degree from LMS of aged 35 years old or under.
候選人必須完成本學系之本科課程,年齡為 35 歲或以下之本地畢業生*。
Proposer 提名人
Nominations shall be proposed by a current academic staff of LMS. Each proposer may propose more than one nominee.
候選人須由本學系現任教員提名。每位提名人可推薦多於一位候選人。

Major selection criteria include:
- Personal achievements in his/her respective profession
- Contributions to society
- Support for LMS and its alumni development
是次評選之主要準則包括:
- 候選人於所屬行業之個人專業成就

All valid nominations will be examined by the Department, with regard to the nominee’s qualifications and performance.
(All information in respect of the nominations will be kept confidential. Information of the awardees will NOT be released until the final decision on the selection has been reached.)
所有有效之提名將呈交本學系作審核,以評定候選人的工作成就及對社會及本學系作出的貢獻。
(提名表格內所有資料將予保密,得獎者資料將於評選結果公布後始作發表。)

Results of the LMS Young Career Award will be announced in our department website in December 2020. The awardees and their proposers will be notified of the results by mail.
獲選名單將於 2020 年 12 月於網站公布,得獎者及其提名人將會獲書面通知。

|
|
Each awardee will receive an LMS Young Career Award trophy. Proposers of the awardees will receive souvenirs in appreciation of their nominations.
得獎者將獲頒發「物流及航運學系青年成就獎」紀念獎座,而其提名人亦將獲贈紀念品。

Declaration of Award Revocation 撤銷獎項聲明

|
Failure to provide complete and accurate information in respect of the nomination by the proposer may result in disqualification of the candidate. The department reserves the rights to withdraw any presented award if deemed appropriate and to amend the above rules and criteria at all time.
如提名表格之資料有任何遺漏或與事實不符,候選人可能被取消參選資格。本學系會保留取消得獎者資格的權利,並有權隨時修改有關評選方法及規則。

- Mr NG Keng Yeung Cyrus 吳鏡陽
2008 Graduate of BBA (Hons) in International Shipping and Transport Logistics
Cyrus graduated from the BBA (Hons) in International Shipping and Transport Logistics programme in 2008. He is currently the Operations Director of Landbridge Ship Management (HK) Limited, which provides ship management and technical support in the fleet and serving business partners.
- Mr WONG Ho Tai Ronald 黃灝泰
2009 Graduate of BBA (Hons) in International Shipping and Transport Logistics
Ronald graduated from the BBA (Hons) in International Shipping and Transport Logistics programme in 2009. He is also the graduate from the MSc in International Shipping and Transport Logistics programme. He is currently the Air Charter & Emergency Services Manager, Asia Pacific of CEVA Logistics Singapore Pte., Ltd. Ronald has been the Chairman of the Logistics Alumni Association (LGTAA) of the Department since 2016.

- Ms CHAN Wing Kei Vicky 陳穎琪
2011 Graduate of BBA (Hons) in Global Supply Chain Management
Vicky graduated from the BBA (Hons) in Global Supply Chain Management programme in 2011. After several years of working in the industry, she was admitted to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) for the Master of Applied Science in Supply Chain Management. Upon graduation, she joined Google as the Supply Planning Program Manager (Consumer Hardware).

- Mr CHEUNG Tai Lung Tiger 張泰隆
2008 Graduate of BBA (Hons) in International Shipping and Transport Logistics
Tiger graduated from the BBA (Hons) in International Shipping and Transport Logistics programme in 2008. He is currently the General Manager of Corporate Development in A&S (HK) Logistics Limited, a transportation service provider to air cargo industry. Tiger is responsible for developing and implementing strategic initiatives.

2010 Graduate of BBA (Hons) in Global Supply Chain Management
Silvia graduated from the BBA (Hons) in Global Supply Chain Management programme in 2010. She is currently the Associate Director, Arcadis Consultancy Hong Kong Limited, a global management consulting company with 150+ years of history listing in Euronext Exchanges. She leads the teams for business development, project delivery, design and procurement, and formulates and implements business strategies, and develops initiatives to enhance the quality of services and service values of the company.

- Mr TAI Choi Pan Anthony 戴才彬
2008 Graduate of BBA (Hons) in International Shipping and Transport Logistics
Anthony graduated from the BBA (Hons) in International Shipping and Transport Logistics programme in 2008. He is currently a Director in Clarksons Platou Asia Limited Hong Kong, managing customer relationship with different shipping companies, and helping the buying and selling the vessels. Moreover, he has also actively participated in our alumni activities, such as career sharing sessions, outdoor bonding events, and company visit.

- Mr CHENG Yiu Raymond 鄭堯
2010 Graduate of BBA (Hons) in Global Supply Chain Management
Raymond graduated from the BBA (Hons) in Global Supply Chain Management programme in 2010. He joined Kerry Logistics as a Management Trainee after graduation. Over the years, he has led Kerry Logistics to expand and venture in Asia, Australia and Middle East.
Raymond is currently the Director – Middle East of Kerry Logistics. In 2013, as the Assistant Manager – Corporate Services, Mr Cheng was seconded to Australia to champion a New Zealand M&A project. In 2014, as the Manager – Global Business, he led a team of professional commercial executives to win numerous major business for Kerry Logistics in Greater China, Southeast Asia and Japan.
In 2016, Mr Cheng was seconded to Dubai as the Director of Operations, overseeing the business in the Middle East and West Africa Region. Under his management, the region recorded 40%+ of Year-over-year (YoY) growth in turnover. The business scope expands from sea, air, warehouse to cross-border trucking and e-commerce supply chain.
