Design A
	In the design, you can see that there are four transports: plane, ship, train and truck. They represent the four transportation models in Logistics: air, sea, rail and road. Meanwhile, those four transports are popping out from the file, this represent that logistics connect a place to the entire world, no matter where are they come from, logistics connect the world, connect people and connect life.
Design B
	The theme of the folder is “Connected Life”. The Main idea is to show a powerful network involved different parties in supply chain and logistics. The curve lines at the back and straight lines connecting the icons represent flow of information, finance and goods. The design also shows LMS students can acquire versatile knowledge and skills through different opportunities in school life and contribute to this network and the world in the future. The design used more than 20 most signature icons in logistics and supply chain to show diversify roles in the network. From sourcing, production, warehousing, distribution to customer service, every element is vital and all can connect together by different job duties and transportation tools. Value added goods and services from this network are continuously connecting and benefiting to our daily lives. The background is in warm colours. White and light orange give a positive image, they also keep the icons and words clear in the whole picture. Words in orange color show a sharp and energetic image. This colour represents an innovative, dynamic and motivated image of the teaching and research in LMS. The words “L”, “M” & “S” are in another colour, which outlined the abbreviation “LMS” representing Department of LMS.
Design C
	The concept behind this design is to show the cooperation of different parties or even races in the industry of logistics and maritime (LM). Firstly, there are diverse areas in the industry such as shipping, air transports, road transports. They delivery products across countries like the design shown. The three hands with different colors mean different races’ people are cooperating to building a harmony industry. As they work together, the picture (puzzles-earth) will become larger just like LM, firms or even countries collaborate with each other to make and ship their products around the world. Thus, people can have a better choice of buying products and that is how LM connect life.
Design D
	As the folder is designed to enhance public awareness of the LMS, and which LMS, our department is mainly focusing on two aspects: transport logistics and supply chain. Therefore, the body part of the folder has included the above two elements; Icons on top left hand corner is representing the matters that can be found in the logistics field such as “ship”, “cargo”, “transactions”, “anchor”, “factory” and “parcel” etc, while the right hand corner states the department name. Besides, as the competition theme is “Connected Life”, not only do the theme is presented clearly on the bottom part, on the above, there are two small words “Logistics” and “Supply Chain”, which also means that we are easily connected to our lives and to the world by involving in the logistics and supply chain world. Also, those small icons are sending a message of “there are linkages between life and logistics” since the icons are mixed with houses (=daily life) and cargo ships (=logistics & supply chain field). To sum up, this folder aims to show the “Connected Life” idea and promote the LMS department as these two elements have taken much spaces on the folder.
Design E
	The design is inspired by gear. With the developed transportation nowadays, goods and services are delivered effectively, in which maintaining good communication and trust is especially important among different parties like logistics companies and customers. That is why I use gear to represent logistics, in which logistics in maritime, aviation and land are the necessary part in our daily life. On the other hand, using the world map as the background of the design, which means that logistics is not only a necessary part in our daily life, but also a net which connect people and everything altogether internationally, which enables globalization and the transfer of culture. In term of the color of the design, the bright color can deliver people a relax and delighted feeling.
