Dr Fauziah Zen

Bio
Fauziah Zen is an economist at Economic Research Institute for ASEAN and East Asia (ERIA) and a faculty member of Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Indonesia. She also gives guest lectures in Hitotsubashi University and Tokyo University, Japan. She has served as Deputy Head of Socio-Humanity Commission in the Indonesia National Research Council and a member of the Advisory Team to Indonesia’s Finance Minister on Fiscal Decentralization during 2009 to 2014. She had consulted for the World Bank, ADB, GIZ, AusAID, and USAID, to several government institutions in Indonesia.

She has more than 15 years of experience in Public Finance, Regulatory Impact Assessment, Infrastructure Development, and Fiscal Policy. Her current research includes various subjects in Infrastructure Financing especially Public-Private Partnership (PPP), ASEAN Connectivity, Social Security, and Disaster Risk Resilience within East Asia region. She also delivers speak in several high level meetings hosted by international cooperation especially OECD, ADBI, GIZ, etc. She obtained her Bachelor and Master of Engineering from Institute of Technology Bandung, Indonesia, and Master and PhD from Hitotsubashi University, Japan.
